How To Store Edibles In The Summer


Edibles are cannabis-based food products. Edibles come in many different forms, from gummies to infused oils, and contain either one or both of cannabis’ active ingredients: THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). Edibles are typically made with concentrated cannabis or flower infusion. 

Infused foods are intended to be consumed either by eating or drinking. Examples include confectioneries, baked goods, and beverages, however the possibilities are endless when it comes to infusion options. Infused goods are absorbed through the digestive tract and provide an inhalation-free option to cannabis, though it can take much longer than smoking or vaping to feel effects. However, depending on the dose and potency levels, effects can feel more pronounced and may last longer than what you experience when smoking or vaping.

SEAL THEM IN AN AIR-TIGHT CONTAINER: Oxygen does just what you’d expect it to; it oxidizes the THC in the cannabis, which causes undesired flavors to develop.

KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE LIGHT: Light can cause a negative reaction in your cannabis products, their taste and potency levels. Remember this is not only natural light, but artificial light as well.

CBD Edibles
